Forum on refuges

Dear friends in Christ,

In response to several requests I have added this new page. Please use this page to share information on the refuges that many say we will be called to form or travel to in the time preceding the Era of Peace. Please keep in mind that the information posted here is gathered from a variety of sources and is to be used with prayer, discretion, and the advice of a competent spiritual director. The information and opinions posted here are those of the one posting. Although I personally may agree with some of what is posted here, please do not infer that I endorse all of it. Each one of us has to make his or her own decision, praying about our own call in these unprecedented times in world history.

  1. What will you do when you run out of waterproof matches? Get a magnifying glass like from a childs science set, you can use the sun to start a fire and you won’t run out.

  2. Lisa,

I too feel the need to prepare has been urgent. I am not afraid of what is to come, I want to be prudent. I have tried to imagine what it is going to be like when the earth shakes as it has been predicted so often, so recently.

Think of all the comforts and necessities that are going to be disrupted. For five years, my wife and I lived close to the land, without electricity and that was great and refreshing. Still at that point we relied on the world for many things. Still, I am aware that the good Lord will take care of our every need when the times and I want to be prepared as much as I can be, without seeming like a end-of-the-world freak.

I just want to be able to share what I have with people who will need it. Jesus has already promised us that what we have will be multiplied, so I am not worried about having a years supply of this, and a years supply of that. We just need some of what will be multiplied.
Some seeds, some water, some fuel, some candles, perhaps some emergency meeting plans for your family if communications go down, a bike(?), bible.

We are never going to be able to prepare physically for what is to come, so spiritually is really the only focus we can bank on. Yet, let’s not be those foolish virgins either.

  3. Peli,

It’s amazing where you can go with a bike and a backpack! It would be prudent to have a decent hand pump, patches and the few tools you need to make bike adjustments or repairs. It has been said that if we do not accept the mark(chip) then we will not be able to purchase fuel for our vehicles, and then how do we get to the refuges? Bikes or feet.

Our children are old enough and they have bikes themselves, so I am keeping their old bike trailer around, to carry the few supplies when we have to head to the refuge houses.

I too have heard the word shaking more and more in my prayers.

  4. Dear Pelianito, I could read only two of your messages and they lift me up from a very dense spiritual situation…praise be to Jesus! I hope to deepen my knowledge of your messages.

About the refuges, let me share and you may not agree, but… some say the refuges are not on this earth at all. One of them, the passed away Carol Ameche spoke of the “ends of Universe” where another seer John Leary would go. He on his side spoke of some kind of balloons to lift up the faithful. I don’t know. I rarely follow John after so many years.

I could say more what I think of, rapture-like in the form of Elijah. But I feel it is enough, in spite it is your blog of apparition messages, and I am pretty new.

Thanks for the opportunity of forum-like conversation, that is definitely needed among those who still believe apparitions.

    1. Welcome John! I am glad you are being blessed by the messages on this site. I am continually amazed at what God can do with a sinner who says yes!

John there are some who feel called to prepare on this earth. Each person must discern for themselves what God may be calling them to. I think that whatever comes, we will all be stripped of what we cling to. It is best to trust in God and not in ourselves. In the words of St. Padre Pio: Pray, trust and don’t worry.

  6. Probably the best thing to do Stella is to contact your Diocese. I have used the Canadian site for the Catholic Near East Welfare Association http://www.cnewa.org. Also there is the Aid to the Church in Need site, and perhaps your Bishops Conference has some information. Hope that helps.

  8. Hello! I have been reading and enjoying the grace from your messages for a very long time. For some reason I was prompted to look around at your site today. I have no idea why I haven’t done it before, but I know now to never ignore a prompt. 🙂

John Leary has published messages which list all the things we should have in backpacks so we are prepared to leave for a refuge or interim refuge when our angels prompt us to go. I think September 30, 2014 is the date of the last “list”. In addition he recently made an updated video that concerns some of the practical pieces of the refuges. In the past 6 months John and his wife Carol were asked to create an interim refuge at their home. They have done this. The messages around the building work included a real sense of urgency and the need for them to move quickly to get their work done.

Additionally, I have personally helped another messenger with the refuge she and her husband were called to establish. They have been working daily for nearly a year to get bedding, food, clothing, etc in place. They have cook stoves that are heating with wood fires as they have been told to prepare for a period of no power. It is simply amazing all of the things they have tried to think about and have in place. She is counting on God’s multiplication of resources, though, because it is just not possible to store food for 40 people (that’s the number she was told to expect) for 3 1/2 years.

We should be prepared as the wise virgins. Of course, we do not know the day or the time when God will direct people to refuges – nor do we know if we will be among the chosen. But if my angel does appear and directs me to leave the comforts of my home that day I don’t want to ask for more time while I order supplies. haha

God is so good. He is our rock and our salvation. If I am not directed to go to a refuge I hope to keep my spiritual readiness in order so I will see Him whom I love after this life.

    God bless all here!

    1. People must do as they feel God is calling. The important thing is spiritual preparation. Anything else we feel “called” to do should give us peace, not fill us with anxiety. All our trust must be in Jesus. And, to be honest, that is only tested out when all our own preparations have failed. We have to be ready for that too. Jesus I trust in you. Pray it till you mean it!

      1. Hi Janet I agree! I used to go to Adoration and have a devotion to Divine mercy and I would say Jesus I trust in you over and over and it made my faith grow and I could feel Jesus pouring his love out on me. My husband and I are trying to have a refuge. We have dairy goats, chickens and turkeys. I am still not 100% about God’s plan but I just pray and trust and don’t worry. After all I know he can give us what we need. Trusting in him in daily life and he always comes through for me to have what I need so why should I doubt him? On the contrary I have every reason to trust him!

      2. Pray, trust and don’t worry! Yes, God can do all things if we only trust in him. I love the Novena of Surrender. You can find it on the Prayers and Novenas page on the right sidebar.
