All these tethers are impeding my work…

2 Timothy 2:20-21 In a large house there are utensils not only of gold and silver but also of wood and clay, some for special use, some for ordinary. All who cleanse themselves of the things I have mentioned will become special utensils, dedicated and useful to the owner of the house, ready for every good work.

“Beloved, do not seek to know the plans I have for you, but do your part to remain clean and ready for use. My plans are for your good. Trust in me. Remove all blockages to grace. Eliminate bad habits and especially work to eliminate habitual sin, no matter how small a thing it may seem to you. Habitual sins are like the ropes holding down a hot air balloon. Until all are cut, the balloon cannot fly. Work and pray to be delivered of these bindings. Ask and ask again. Confess and confess gain. Try and try again. The only failure is to stop trying. I tell you I will reward you for even the smallest effort. All these tethers are impeding my work. See them for what they are and be glad to be rid of them. We have much to do together. Rid yourself of all that keeps you apart from the Divine Will. Then you will know true joy.”

Jesus for us this is impossible, but for you all things are possible. Then grant us grace upon grace and the strong desire to be untethered, especially from our habitual sins. Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, lead us and heal us. Amen.

If you do this, it will be evident to all whose child you are…

Matthew 5:9 “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.”

“My beloved, what is a peacemaker? It is one who has died to self so that Gods’ will alone reigns in him. It is one who seeks out the lost and guides them to the merciful heart of God. It is one who trusts so implicitly in God’s goodness that he exudes peace, and others are attracted by it. Whatever your station in life, my beloved, you can die to self, guide the lost into my merciful heart, and place all your trust firmly in your loving, gracious Father. If you do this, it will be evident to all whose child you are. Draw near, my beloved, your Father waits.”

O beloved Father of my heart, here I am. Let our Mama teach me how to be a peacemaker so that I may die to self, lead souls into your merciful heart, and learn to trust you more. Father, I place all my trust in you through Jesus in the love of the Holy Spirit. Blessed Mother—teach me! Amen.

Fasting crucifies the earthly passions, and prayer gives you the grace you need to be able to fast…

Matthew 4:3 The tempter came and said to him, ‘If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.’

“My beloved, the tempter knows your weakness and waits for the perfect opportunity to tempt you. He will use your earthly passions against you. That is why you must fast and pray. Fasting crucifies the earthly passions, and prayer gives you the grace you need to be able to fast, and fast well. There is a form of fasting the feeds the pride. This form is abhorrent to me and has the opposite effect than the one fasting had hoped for. Let your fasting be first of all from pride. When you fast, do not consider how well you have done or how poorly, but in all humility give me whatever you can, and do not calculate the merit of it. You will be very surprised at the end of your life at what was credited to you as merit. Be completely detached from all results. Be humble, be faithful, and give everything to me. Children, the tempter has no power over a humble soul, for that soul carries the odor of Jesus and Mary; he cannot come near. Be little and be grateful for all you have been given. All is gift, dear children. Return it all to me and be at peace. Shalom.”

Beloved Father of my heart, I give you glory and praise your name for all your many gifts to this unworthy sinner. Help me to see my own nothingness and to give back to you all you have given to me. O beloved Father, Abba, I love you! Amen.

If they do not recognize their own sinfulness, how can they repent?

Matthew 3:5 Then the people of Jerusalem and all Judea were going out to him, and all the region along the Jordan, and they were baptized by him in the river Jordan, confessing their sins.

“Oh my beloved, how I long for the day when my children will enter into the ocean of my mercy with humble, contrite hearts. Pray unceasingly for this. There are many who do not acknowledge the existence of sin. If they do not recognize their own sinfulness, how can they repent? How can they understand their abject need for mercy? If they will not come to the waters of forgiveness, how can they be saved? My child, this is a grave situation. Many, many souls are in grave danger. During this Year of Mercy and especially during this holy season of Lent, let your fasting and prayer be for sinners. Be an agent of mercy. With your prayers, immerse these poor souls in the fountain of mercy that gushed from my side. Do not let my mercy go un-accessed. Be the one to pray unceasingly for souls. Children, the days of mercy will one day draw to a close. Use all the tools I have given you to immerse poor sinners in my mercy. Children, there is so little time.”

O my Jesus, merciful Savior, in the Divine Will I immerse all sinners through the Flame of Love in the ocean of your mercy. I ask that through this Lent you will use my poor offerings to best advantage. So I offer them to you in the Divine Will through the Flame of Love of our Immaculate Mother. Save souls, O Merciful one! Save souls! Amen.

Woe to those who oppress my people!

Jeremiah 12:14-17 Thus says the Lord concerning all my evil neighbours who touch the heritage that I have given my people Israel to inherit: I am about to pluck them up from their land, and I will pluck up the house of Judah from among them. And after I have plucked them up, I will again have compassion on them, and I will bring them again to their heritage and to their land, every one of them. And then, if they will diligently learn the ways of my people, to swear by my name, ‘As the Lord lives’, as they taught my people to swear by Baal, then they shall be built up in the midst of my people. But if any nation will not listen, then I will completely uproot it and destroy it, says the Lord.

“My child, there is nothing that happens that does not have ramifications in the spiritual realm. Woe to those who oppress my people! I am being scourged and mocked by legions! I am about to rattle the nations, to wake them from their sin and error. Pray for nations, my children. Pray for those who are mercilessly persecuting me in my followers. Do I not feel every one of the blows myself? Do I not weep in the loneliness and despair of those imprisoned for being my followers? Do I not feel the gnawing hunger in my belly that my displaced children feel? You must know that my justice will be appeased in this as in all things. A great shaking* is about to come for the whole world. Pray that souls will be converted. Offer your prayers in the Divine Will for greater efficacy. I will hear you and my mercy will flow through you into the world. Mercy triumphs over justice. Yet the Divine justice is always satisfied. Pray. Fast. Do so in the Divine Will and your will accomplish infinitely more than you can imagine. Children, pray!”

O my Jesus, in the Divine Will I offer you all the sufferings of my life linked to your sufferings and those of your most holy Mother. I do this in the name of everyone from Adam to the last man so that in the Divine Will your justice may be satisfied and your mercy may triumph. I offer this in reparation to the much-wounded Trinity, for the conversion of souls, for the conversion of nations, and for the conversion of those who are persecuting you in your followers. I offer these prayers in the Flame of Love and crown them with the fiats of Jesus and Mary. Blessed Trinity of Love, have mercy! Amen.

(*The “great shaking” may or may not refer to an earthquake. It may be figurative, or it may be literal. One way or another, it will shake the nations.)

The tongue is an easy tool for the devil and therefore must be guarded with great diligence…

Psalm 69:12 I am the subject of gossip for those who sit in the gate; and the drunkards make songs about me.

“My children, guard your tongues well. Now, more than ever, is it important to measure your words and take every thought captive to Christ. Be deliberate in your speech. Let grace be on your lips. Do not let evil talk or flippant speech issue from your mouth. The tongue is an easy tool for the devil and therefore must be guarded with great diligence. It is far better not to speak than it is to speak rashly or thoughtlessly. Let silence be your prayer and do not rush to fill every silence. Say only what is needed to build others up, taking care not to flatter. Speak with sincerity, honesty, and kindness. If you cannot manage this, it is best to remain silent. There are times when a rebuke is needed, but let it be as gentle as it is honest, measured and weighed to fit the situation. There is much silence in Scripture. Study the silence and you will be given many graces.”

O my Jesus, you were silent before your accusers. Help me to set a guard over my tongue, and to be measured and deliberate in my speech. Hold me in the glorious silence of your embrace—a place of immense majesty where words fail. Jesus I love you! Set a guard over my mouth, that I will speak only and always in the Divine Will. Amen.

Once the idols are shattered, my Spirit will once again go out over the formless void and renew the face of the earth…

Jeremiah 19:11 Thus says the Lord of hosts: So will I break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter’s vessel, so that it can never be mended. In Topheth they shall bury until there is no more room to bury.

“My children, do you think I take delight in sorrow and woe? Do you think I am edified by my people’s suffering? No, my delight would be in their conversion, my edification in their contrition. But this people has rejected my messengers. Once again, my Son is crucified and vilified. Yes, I mean to shatter them, but only so that what they cling to—all their idols—will be seen for what they are—shams, counterfeits, vapor. Once the idols are shattered, my Spirit will once again go out over the formless void and renew the face of the earth. My children, do you see how this must be? Fly to me, my little ones! Show me your humble, contrite hearts. Console me and help me in my work of renewal. I am looking for willing workers. There is much to be done in the glorious work of salvation. It is an honor to be asked to participate in this great work. Do you see that? Are you willing? Children come to me!”

Abba, Father, we are your children, contrite, penitent. We come to you in humble service. If you can use our poor efforts in the work of salvation, then do not delay, but use the little we offer magnified in the Flame of Love. In the Divine Will accomplish in us what we ourselves are incapable of accomplishing. In you all things are possible. Here I am Lord, I come to live in your holy will—save souls! Amen.

Bear your afflictions with patience, praying for the grace to endure them with holy joy…

Nahum 1:12-13 Thus says the Lord, ‘Though they are at full strength and many, they will be cut off and pass away. Though I have afflicted you, I will afflict you no more. And now I will break off his yoke from you and snap the bonds that bind you.’

“My children, remember this well when you are afflicted. My anger lasts but a moment, but my favor on those who cling to me lasts for a lifetime. Beloved little ones, you do not understand, but my afflictions—those I send you—are often signs of my favor. Do you doubt this? Study the life of my Son and the lives of the saints. Who was more afflicted than my Son and my Mother? Yet these afflictions were not the whole story and neither are they with you. Bear your afflictions with patience, praying for the grace to endure them with holy joy. In this way you turn afflictions into great graces for yourself and those for whom you offer them. My little ones, the more tightly you cling to me in your afflictions, the more grace you will receive. If you do not know how to pray, then just call out to me—“Father!”—and I will be there before the sound has faded. Children I am with you and I love you. Draw near.”

Beloved Father of my heart, how little we deserve such loving attention from you. Yet, do not look on our weakness, but on the sign of Christ into which we were baptized. If you see Christ when you look at us, then we will be lifted up with him and be made worthy to cling to our beloved Abba. Father! Father! Father!

Happy are those who weep now for their sins, for they shall be comforted in the ocean of my mercy…

Joel 2:12-13 Yet even now says the Lord, return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; rend your hearts and not your clothing. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and relents from punishing.

“My children, happy are those who weep now for their sins, for they shall be comforted in the ocean of my mercy. My heart was rent—then imitate me and do not hold back. If you rend your heart you will become an instrument of Divine Mercy. Blessed are you who mourn now for your sins. You shall rejoice in the kingdom of heaven. But woe to you when you refuse to weep and mourn now over your sins! The gates of mercy will close on you and then you shall weep bitterly! Children let all that is about to befall you always lead you to glorify God. Trust that whatever comes, it will be followed by something so glorious you will forget the pain of former days. Enter into my rest, dear faithful souls. I am near!”

Heavenly Father, in the Divine Will we offer you our deepest sorrow over our sins and failings. Have mercy on us and on all those you have given us to pray for. We trust that they will all receive the grace they need to come back to you with all their hearts. We include in our prayers this Lent all those who have no one to pray for them. Jesus we trust in you. Save souls!

Dream: Suddenly and ferociously the enemy attacked…

Micah 4: 9-10 Now why do you cry aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counsellor perished, that pangs have seized you like a woman in labour? Writhe and groan, O daughter Zion, like a woman in labour, for now you shall go forth from the city and camp in the open country; you shall go to Babylon. There you shall be rescued, there the Lord will redeem you from the hands of your enemies.

Dream: The dream started in a hospital. I saw two men that I know making beds in the hospital. I asked why they were doing that. They said there was no one else to do it. Then I realized we were in a war. The two sides were the Germans and the Russians as in WWII when Nazi Germany invaded Russia. The Nazis were the enemy. I felt in the dream that I knew my side would win the war. But suddenly and ferociously the enemy attacked. I was astonished at the weapons they had. They drove their tanks over soldiers before they could so much as get out of the way. They fired their tank-guns and killed those farther afield. They were merciless. It was carnage, far, far worse than I had ever expected. What amazed me was how well-prepared and well-equipped the enemy was. Most astonishing was the speed with which the attack came and how easily they seemed to overtake those on our side. A most disturbingly vivid dream.

One thing I feel we are being warned about is complacency. We need to re-double our efforts, increase our prayers and sacrifices. We have the victory but let us not be caught off-guard. Watch and pray! The enemy wants to separate as many souls as possible from the Church so that they are not receiving the sacraments. Cling to the sacraments with all your might! They are the most powerful weapons we have. If you want to find out how powerful, read Marino Restrepo’s “Catholics Awake!”

Heavenly Father in Jesus we have the victory. Help us to remain steadfast in the faith. Help us to avail ourselves of the spiritual weapons you give us—most especially the sacraments. Jesus we trust in you. Save souls!
