Offer prayers and sacrifices in the Divine Will, and the duration and intensity may yet be lessened…

Hosea 9:2 Threshing-floor and wine vat shall not feed them, and the new wine shall fail them.

“My beloved, see I make all things new. The old ways of sin are passing away. The new ways of righteousness have been conceived and await the hour of birth. The labor will be fierce but do not despair. In due time, joy will make the days of sin a faded memory, a dream that one awakes from and is overjoyed that it is over. Be patient. Pray for strength and KNOW that the labor is finite. Offer prayers and sacrifices in the Divine Will, and the duration and intensity may yet be lessened. Children I am near and I eagerly await our new life together.”

Blessed Trinity of Love, I praise and thank you in the Divine Will in the name of everyone for all you are doing to bring about the kingdom of the Divine Will. In the Divine Will, through the Flame of Love I offer all my prayers and sufferings, as well as every shard of suffering ever endured so that your kingdom may come quickly and that the labor will be of short duration and less intense than we deserve. Jesus, give us strength and hope. We place all our trust in you. Save souls! Amen.

Once the idols are shattered, my Spirit will once again go out over the formless void and renew the face of the earth…

Blessings on this glorious feast of Pentecost! May the Holy Spirit speak to our hearts today and always. Let us open our ears to what the Spirit is saying to the churches.

Jeremiah 19:11 Thus says the Lord of hosts: So will I break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter’s vessel, so that it can never be mended. In Topheth they shall bury until there is no more room to bury.

“My children, do you think I take delight in sorrow and woe? Do you think I am edified by my people’s suffering? No, my delight would be in their conversion, my edification in their contrition. But this people has rejected my messengers. Once again, my Son is crucified and vilified. Yes, I mean to shatter them, but only so that what they cling to—all their idols—will be seen for what they are—shams, counterfeits, vapor. Once the idols are shattered, my Spirit will once again go out over the formless void and renew the face of the earth. My children, do you see how this must be? Fly…

Addendum…

A reader asked for suggestions on how to include our Father in our family events, especially when family members may be away from the Church, indifferent, or hostile to the faith. Here were my suggestions, which I thought added clarity to the post and might benefit others.

Perhaps one person silently inviting the Father, Son, and Spirit into the gathering or event in the Divine Will on behalf of all present, is the best we can do. For God it will be enough for now, as we pray for the conversion of those in our spiritual territory. As for grace at meals, if others are offended by the grace we offer, we can suggest a moment of silent gratitude and silently pray our grace in the Divine Will on behalf of all there. We need to be creative I think. But let us make a conscious effort to remember our Father in all our activities. And if we forget–and we will forget–perhaps three Our Fathers in reparation could be prayed at the end of the day. Our guardian angels can be enlisted to help us remember. They just need to be asked!

My arms are full of treasures that no one wants…

Nehemiah 13:17-18 Then I remonstrated with the nobles of Judah and said to them, ‘What is this evil thing that you are doing, profaning the sabbath day? Did not your ancestors act in this way, and did not our God bring all this disaster on us and on this city? Yet you bring more wrath on Israel by profaning the sabbath.’

“My child, what am I to do with this generation? How few, even those who bear my name, keep the sabbath holy, doing only that work which is necessary, and spending the day at rest or in holy pursuits, or even remembering me when they gather with family. Am I not the head of all Christian families, indeed of all families? Then why am I not the guest of honour where my children gather? Oh, how I am scourged anew by so many slights! Do they not see that in rejecting me and neglecting me, they reject the blessings I so long to give them? My arms are full of treasures that no one wants. All they need do is invite me into their homes and make me their guest of honour, and I will shower them with blessings and graces in abundance. Keep holy the sabbath day in this way, and you will be abundantly blessed in the rest of the week. Cry out Abba! and I will be there.”

O my beloved Abba, forgive me for all the times I have neglected to consciously include you in my family gatherings, especially on the sabbath. I offer you the perfect attention of the Holy Family in reparation for these appalling slights of mine. In the Divine Will, apply their attentions to my poor efforts, in order to give you the glory and honour you deserve as Father of all, our loving Abba. Abba, I love you! Draw me near, and all those who are with me. Let us rest together in love this sabbath day and all sabbaths. Amen.

Imitate the first disciples and pray for boldness…

Acts 4:29-31 And now, Lord, look at their threats, and grant to your servants to speak your word with all boldness, while you stretch out your hand to heal, and signs and wonders are performed through the name of your holy servant Jesus.’ When they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.

“My children, imitate the first disciples and pray for boldness. Pray also for courage and fortitude. The Holy Spirit waits to be asked for a new infilling of these gifts, which you received in a measure at your Confirmation. Do not be afraid. I mean to work new wonders in this age, that all may believe. Yet happy are you who have not seen, and yet believe. Your faithfulness will be counted in your favor. Children, in your boldness do not forget kindness and humility. Imitate our Mother who always spoke the truth with kindness, gentleness, and abject humility, pointing always toward God and never to herself. That is why there is so little about her in Scripture. Yet I am making her more well-known to this generation because her merits, virtues, and perfections deserve to be emulated. Be bold like your Mother, who did not let fear keep her from the foot of the cross.”

My beloved Jesus, I praise you for the glorious gift and example our Mother is to us. May her prayers on our behalf win for us new boldness, humility, fortitude, courage, kindness, gentleness, and a new infilling of all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, her glorious and most generous Spouse. We ask all these prayers in the Divine Will. Amen.

St. Faustina’s Prayer for Priests…

I found this today and thought it tied in well with the previous message as well as the coming celebration of the Feast of Divine Mercy. God’s timing is glorious!

Prayer for Priests
(St. Faustina’s Diary, 1052)

O my Jesus, I beg You on behalf of the whole Church: Grant it love and the light of Your Spirit, and give power to the words of priests so hardened hearts may be brought to repentance and return to You, O Lord. Lord, give us holy priests; you yourself maintain them in holiness. O Divine and Great High Priest, may the power of Your mercy accompany them everywhere and protect them from the devil’s traps and snares which are continually being set for the souls of priests. May the power of Your mercy, O Lord, shatter and bring to naught all that might tarnish the sanctity of priests, for You can do all things.

On this holy night, remember in a special way my priest-sons…

Acts 6:7 The word of God continued to spread; the number of the disciples increased greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests became obedient to the faith.

“My beloved, how my heart longs for the day when the everlasting Word is found in every heart, when it is treasured, protected, and defended as the priceless treasure that it is, and when priests treasure The Word more than their own words. Much evil is done by even well-meaning priests who are so little acquainted with the Word made flesh that their words become a tool of the enemy and a trap for the faithful. But let this holy night fill you with great hope and joy! For even the apostles—all but one—failed in their duty as priests on Calvary. Yet what glory was accomplished in them through the Holy Spirit, and how, in the end, they glorified God and furthered the Kingdom. On this holy night, remember in a special way my priest-sons. Pray that they will learn to know the Word, love the Word and live the Word. Your prayers may be all that is lacking in a poor priest, and this will be counted against you at judgment. All the faithful have a role to play in building up the kingdom. Some are like the bricks in the parish church, but bricks without mortar are just a pile of bricks. Let your prayers be the mortar for those priests, so that they can succeed in what they were sent to do. I am near, my children. My mother sends her love and I join her in giving you an Easter blessing +.”

Oh Jesus, thank you! Blessed Mama, thank you! In the Divine Will, in the name of everyone, through the Flame of Love, I lift up all priests, especially those in my spiritual territory and those who have served me in any way during my lifetime. I ask that they would be held and protected in the Flame of Love, safe from the traps of the enemy. I pray that they would be strengthened in ministry and that you would send holy servants to assist them in their kingdom work. May this holy night be for them a new beginning in holiness and love of the Word, Jesus Christ, who is Lord forever and ever. And I thank you! Amen.
