Now is the time for the utmost vigilance…

Mark 7:14-15, 21 Then he called the crowd again and said to them, ‘Listen to me, all of you, and understand: there is nothing outside a person that by going in can defile, but the things that come out are what defile.’ For it is from within, from the human heart, that evil intentions come.

“My beloved, you are assaulted daily by the sinful ways of this wicked age. Where can you go that your eyes are not assaulted by what is offensive? My child, do all you can to avoid these things, and guard against letting these things take root in your heart. What is passively seen is not sinful—what is actively dwelt upon is a grave danger. If it takes root in your heart, it will be a great struggle for you to uproot it. Now is the time for the utmost vigilance. Ask your holy angel to protect you. Place the Cross of Christ before and behind you—let it surround you. Confess often. Children, this is an age filled with grave spiritual danger. Offer all you can in the Divine Will for the sake of those who have let their guard drop. They are many, and even within the Church! I am much offended. Pray!”

O my dear Father, I am heartily sorry for my part in your offendedness. In the Divine Will, through the Flame of Love, I repent of any lack of vigilance on my part. In your infinite mercy, send your holy angels to keep me from grave sin—from all sin! I ask all this in the Divine Will, through the Flame of Love, on behalf of everyone from Adam to the last man. Lord Jesus, have mercy on us all! For the sake of His sorrowful passion, Lord God, have mercy on us and on the whole world. Amen.

  1. Amen … It is not for nothing that Mother Mary repeats and repeats the importance of prayer, fasting, Holy Mass, the rosary, penance, the Word of God. These all build up her children into Christ, into other Christs …
I did for a spell manage as much rosary, and daily Mass as I could. But I guess I allowed the demands of work and care of a family member to take over last week. Prayer became small windows of opportunity which gradually shut.. I certainly noticed a change in myself, no longer anchored so well in God .. A return of the old Eve .. So I understand about ” the guard down “. I ask His forgiveness. He will help me start again.. I will ask my angel too for help Thank you for sharing, Janet 🙏

  2. This is a very timely and sober message. We each need to get our house in order, root out the sin through frequent confession, pray the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet frequently and go to Mass to receive the Eucharist as often as possible. An increase in holiness and vigilance is needed. May the Holy Spirit, though the intercession of the Blessed Mother, strengthen all of us to do God’s work.

  4. In the flame of love book, Our Lady said that in November she will release a soul from purgatory each time we pray the Hail Mary with the Flame of Love prayer. A good incentive to pray it more!
