Fatima Novena October 4-12…

Blessings dear friends. I call to mind the message of September 4, which called us to “retreat to the tabernacle of (our) hearts and pray for the coming of the kingdom, for the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart, for the conversion of sinners, and for reparation to be made to (the Lord’s) much-wounded heart”.  I leave it to each of you to decide how our Lady may be calling you to pray in preparation for the 100th anniversary of the October 13, 1917 miracle of the sun at Fatima. There are any number of prayer options to be found online. Here are a few more ideas, any of which may be prayed in conjunction with the Rosary, Our Lady’s specific Fatima request. Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!

Novena Option 1 (from a reader):

Fatima Chaplet

On the large beads of the Rosary:

My Jesus, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love you. I ask pardon for all those who do not believe, do not adore, do not hope, and do not love you.

Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore you profoundly. I offer you the body, blood, soul and divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences, by which he is offended. Through the infinite merits of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg for the conversion of poor sinners.

On the small beads of the Rosary:

Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love you, save souls!

End with three Glory Be’s.

Novena Option 2 (from a reader):

Our Lady of the Rosary, ask your Son Jesus to have mercy on us, and to give us His Peace.
Help us to heed your warning at Fatima, that we amend our lives and stop offending God, who is already offended by our sins. Our Lady of Fatima, Queen of the Holy Rosary, pray for us. Amen

Novena Option 3:

Most Holy Virgin, who has deigned to come to Fatima to reveal to the three little shepherds the treasures of graces hidden in the recitation of the Rosary, inspire our hearts with a sincere love of this devotion, so that by meditating on the mysteries of our redemption that are recalled in it, we may gather the fruits and obtain the conversion of sinners, the conversion of Russia, and this favour that I so earnestly seek, (name your intention) as well as the promotion of the Fatima message in my country and around the world, for the greater glory of God, for your own honour, and for the good of all people. Amen

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory Be to the Father …

Litany of Our Lady of Fatima:

Our Lady of Fatima, pray for our dear country.

Our Lady of Fatima, sanctify our clergy.

Our Lady of Fatima, make our Catholics more fervent.

Our Lady of Fatima, guide and inspire those who govern us.

Our Lady of Fatima, cure the sick who confide in thee.

Our Lady of Fatima, console the sorrowful who trust in thee.

Our Lady of Fatima, help those who invoke your aid.

Our Lady of Fatima, deliver us from all dangers.

Our Lady of Fatima, help us to resist temptation.

Our Lady of Fatima, obtain for us all that we lovingly ask of thee.

Our Lady of Fatima, help those who are dear to us.

Our Lady of Fatima, bring back to the right road our erring brothers.

Our Lady of Fatima, give us back our ancient fervour.

Our Lady of Fatima, obtain for us pardon of our manifold sins and offences.

Our Lady of Fatima, bring all men to the feet of thy Divine Child.

Our Lady of Fatima, obtain peace for the world.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Let us Pray: O God of infinite goodness and mercy, fill our hearts with a great confidence in Thy dear Mother, whom we invoke under the title of Our Lady of the Rosary and our Lady of Fatima, and grant us by her powerful intercession all the graces, spiritual and temporal, which we need. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

  1. I would like permission to reblog this on our Adoration chapel webpage. I have felt called to request our adorers to pray in addition to their personal intentions, to pray for more adorers to fill the open hours on the schedule. Thank you in advance, Alise

  2. Reblogged this on Perpetual Adoration Chapel and commented:
Please join me and fellow adorers in praying the Fatima novena from Oct 4th through Oct 12th in anticipation of the 100th Anniversary of the miracle of the sun on Oct 13.   In addition to your personal intentions, please also pray Our Lady will intercede on our behalf for additional permanent adorers to fill the open hours in our schedule.

  3. Thank you dear sister, I’ve been thinking about this since the first request and have been ‘encouraged’ to pray Cardinal Burke’s chaplet of Jesus Holy Face. I hope this is acceptable. God bless. Frances

  4. Thank you Janet for the reminder. And for the suggestions. May God grant that our prayers bear fruit. We are living in ever increasing crisis and danger as the massacre in Las Vegas shows.

  5. There is also a World Fast going up from the 4th to the 12th for the End of All evil,
&, the Consecration of Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
Bread & Water is the most perfect fast according to Our Lady.

  6. Thank you Janet and others here who shared ideas for extra efforts in petition for the Triumph of Immaculate Heart of Mary to coincide with 13th October in response to Janet’s inspiration from Jesus.

I have posted the little prayer shared here along with the Litany of Our Lady of Fatima on MOG Forum, as well as sharing printouts of the little prayer in 7 or 8 parishes in my town.

I opened the Old Testament last week at random and came across the Song of Moses. I felt this was somehow special in God’s plan for us, so intend to read it through each day for the nine days. It feels like God is still reminding us to put Him and His Laws and precepts First if we want Peace and Prosperity in our world. And this has always been the case even in the time of Moses. Safe in the Divine Will through the Flame of Love in the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

    Praised be Jesus and Mary.
