    1. Here is the dream: Mark was earnestly telling me something, three “words” he had heard from the Lord louder than he had heard anything before. He told me the “words” but now I can’t remember exactly what he said. At the end of the dream, I too heard a “word” so loud it physically startled me and then I felt something brush my neck, like an angel’s wing, and not a subtle brushing…it went right across my neck to my shoulder! I woke with a start! The “word” I heard so loudly was “THE ABOVE” which could mean many things, but I feel it means as it does on a multiple choice quiz, “All of the above”, or all three of Mark’s messages together. It was a powerful, startling confirmation of this word to Mark. When I woke up I knew Mark’s final piece would be there that morning.

What a blessing this word is to us! Send it around, folks!

  1. Peli, just before Mark Mallett posted this, I had a dream also which I don’t really remember except for ONE thing…I very clearly and distinctly heard and saw the name “Catherine Doherty”. A couple of years ago I read her book “Poustinia, Encountering God in Silence, Solitude, and Prayer”, because I felt drawn to read it. But now this dream and Mark Mallet’s post lead me to think that the Lord is trying to tell me something more.

  2. WoW! I will certainly share this. Interestingly enough, I have been copying and pasting things from you, Peli, and from Mark and Charlie, saving them on my computer in a special folder and printing them out so that my husband can read them upon finishing his Liturgy of the Hours. When he finishes reading the printed copy, he places it on a pile on the kitchen counter. These become my copies to carry to Mass and share with different people as the Spirit leads.

I never had a PLAN to do this. It just began “happening.”

    😉

Thank you, Peli, for being faithful.

  4. Love and Truth different emphasis. Before his election Pope Benedict gave his famous pre. conclave homily in which he used the phrase “the dictatorship of relativism”

    http://www.zenit.org/en/articles/cardinal-ratzinger-s-homily-in-mass-before-conclave

and he saw as his task, I believe, at least in part, to try to restore a sense in America and the West of a sense of absolute truth as being true and Francis by contrast after his election when he was asked who he was he said paraphrasing “I am a sinner, I am a sinner who God has looked on in His mercy” recalling his conversion experience on the feast day of St Matthew. So different emphasis but same truth and love.
