John 19: 34 One soldier thrust his lance into (Jesus’) side, and immediately blood and water flowed out.
“My child, your life is in my hands. Look upon the one who was pierced and see what love issued forth from his side. This is not someone who will forget those for whom he was pierced. Child, the mercy of God is unfathomable, limitless. How tragic that so few souls are immersing themselves in the ocean of mercy. It is tragic for souls, tragic for the whole world. For all creation groans as the weight of sin presses relentlessly, mercilessly on. Repent! For the kingdom of God is at hand. Why does this generation not see? Why is it willfully blind? The time has nearly run out. Justice is near. Prostrate yourselves before the King. For he comes, and the day will be great and terrible indeed.”
Merciful Jesus, we trust in your mercy. Your pierced heart is our hope. We cling to you O Lord most merciful. Lord Jesus, while there is still a sliver of time, I ask you in the Divine Will to pour out your grace anew over the world. Bless it and everything in it, for the sake of sinners who cost you so much. Jesus, Lord of mercy, we trust in you. Jesus, Mary, Joseph, we love you. Save souls! Amen.
