2 Peter 2:12-13 But these people, like irrational animals born by nature for capture and destruction, revile things that they do not understand, and in their destruction they will also be destroyed, suffering wrong as payment for wrongdoing.
“Beloved, woe to those who revile me and persecute my flock! They do not know that they are the authors of their own destruction. Do you not see how all your actions, your thoughts, for good or ill, have repercussions in time and in eternity? Be humble, merciful, just, patient, forgiving, kind, and generous. All these things will be given back to you a hundred-fold. Enter into the merits of Christ as did his Mother. This is possible for all since Christ desires it. Lose everything that prevents you from attaining this perfection. There is nothing on this earth that is worth one nano-second of the beatific vision. You will have much to suffer, but do not be afraid. Remain firmly planted in my virtue and you will not be put to shame. Pray always for conversions. So many are falling into the abyss!”
Jesus, beloved, be our strength. In the Divine Will we enter into your merits so that we may endure well and with grace all that is to come. May all we endure serve to win souls for the kingdom according to your will and plan. Jesus we trust in you. Amen.
