Do you see how those corrupted by sin have distorted everything?

Esther 8:12c (or E:3) Not only do they seek to do harm to our subjects; incapable of bearing such greatness, they even begin plotting against their own benefactors.

“My beloved, do you see how those corrupted by sin have distorted everything? They have exalted themselves to the detriment of all–even themselves! For the wages of sin is death. Let there be no doubt that these people will reap what they have sown, and many will suffer for it–the innocent as well as the guilty. Continue to pray, my child, for prayer is communal and will have consequences in the world as an antidote to the poison that is now everywhere.”

Lord, you are so merciful and generous. May your mercy gain new strength in these last days and may souls be converted through Mary Immaculate. Amen.

  1. i could not believe my eyes. a friend and i have just had this discussion on the effects on the whole body of both our good and bad acts.! and we discussed how this encompassed the scales of justice and that prayer is the antidote to sin. truly, we had this discussion 2 hours before i read the journal entry. talk about confirmation!!!!anne

  2. Praise God for his goodness!

Here is another way to look at it: Sin feeds the “monster” of evil. When the monster grows, evil grows in the world, even apart from the monster. So, if I commit a sin, I make it easier for someone else to commit a sin anywhere in the world. If I repent and confess, the “food” turns to poison in the monster’s stomach and the prayers of God’s faithful makes the air around the monster unbreathable. That is why our Lord and our Lady constantly exhort us to REPENT AND PRAY!

God bless you for your faithfulness and prayers!
