Do not fail to thank God continuously for restraining his hand in this age…

Psalm 78:38-39 But God is merciful and forgave their sin; he did not utterly destroy them. Time and again he turned back his anger, unwilling to unleash all his rage. He was mindful that they were flesh, a breath that passes and does not return.

“My child, do not fail to thank God continuously for restraining his hand in this age. My child, do you begin to comprehend the mercy of God who sees men for what they are? And not only for what they are, but for what they can be through grace. Pray unceasingly for souls, dear child. God All Merciful will hear your prayers and answer you.”

Lord, your mercy is incomprehensible. Jesus I trust in you. Have mercy on all sinners and in the name of all I ask for the gift of faith so that all might come to the kingdom with joy. Amen.
