Where mercy and judgment intersect, there is always turbulence…

Psalm 13:6 I trust in your faithfulness. Grant my heart joy in your help, that I may sing of the LORD, “How good our God has been to me!”

“My beloved, what do these words tell you?”

Lord, my God, they tell me that no matter what happens, your unfailing love and the gift of salvation should cause me to rejoice and give thanks always.

“My child, there is no end to my goodness and mercy. But where mercy and judgment intersect, there is always turbulence, as when two mighty rivers collide. However, there is no need to fear, for mercy triumphs over judgment and the wide river of peace flows out of the turbulence. Do not be afraid, but look for the peace.”

Lord Jesus, I trust in your mercy and love. Here I am, Lord. I come to do your will. Amen.
