Acts 4:19-20 Peter and John, however, said to them in reply, “Whether it is right in the sight of God for us to obey you rather than God, you be the judges. It is impossible for us not to speak about what we have seen and heard.”
“What have you seen and heard, my child?”
The blind see, the dead are raised , the Good News is proclaimed to the poor and captives are set free.
“Child, you have answered well, for although the temporal miracles you speak of are rare, spiritually speaking you have seen all these things. And what is more urgent? To cure physical blindness or spiritual blindness? To raise the dead to earthly life or to everlasting life? To free those held captive in earthly prisons or in the prison of sin? My child, the earthly needs of my beloved children are important to me, but the care of their souls is infinitely more important. Then speak about what you have seen and heard. Be the voice crying out in the wilderness, the witness of the living and true God. Prepare the way of the Lord, for he comes!”
Here I am Lord. I come to do your will in your will. Alleluia! Amen.
